Established in 1946, UNA-USA San Diego Chapter promotes engagement with the United Nations. Localizing the global initiatives of the UN, our volunteers raise awareness about the international organization and its direct impact and influence on local policies and realities.

Every year we commemorate the founding of the United Nations on October 24th. We highlight local efforts and best practices on
sustainability in making our world a secure, just and inclusive one.

Eleanor Roosevelt Human Rights
The Eleanor Roosevelt Human Rights Award is very special and personal to our Chapter. With the award, each year we recognize individuals that believe in the goals of the UN and effect positive, lasting change in their work.
