Membership
Join the nation’s largest group of advocates for the UN, with a network of over 200 chapters and 20,000+ members across the U.S.! Our members are the local leaders fighting to protect and promote the vital work of the UN. Experience first hand the work of the United Nations; by attending its events worldwide and get access to their experts through our Chapter’s accreditation with the UN Economic and Social Council.
Volunteering
Committed to strengthening the United Nations system, our volunteers and members are united in their commitment to global engagement within our local communities. Together we share the belief that each of us can play a part in advancing the UN’s mission and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Internship
To promote constructive United States leadership within the United Nations, our interns engage in local projects to achieve the goals set forth in the UN Charter. The San Diego Chapter, as part of the National Chapter (UNA-USA) is a program of the United Nations Foundation. Together with its partner organization, the Better World Campaign, we comprise the largest network of UN advocates in the world.
